I · Websites
A custom website for a small business — authored, not restyled.
You need a place people arrive — a site that can be read on a phone, that holds a story, that takes an inquiry without looking rented. The Commission is that site. We design, write, and build it on one bench.
Template mills sell speed. Boutique shops sell theater. We sell a finished surface: architecture, writing, motion that earns its place, and code that does not fight the next person who opens it.
Most brochure-to-story sites live in The Commission: up to six authored pages, mobile-first, a contact path, launch support. CMS, extra pages, payments, and migration sit as add-ons — numbered, not sprung.
If you run a crew that takes jobs from the yard, see The Yard. If you need software people live in, see The Instrument.
Counsel
Before you write.
- What is included in $1,850?
- Up to six authored pages, mobile-first design and motion, a contact or inquiry path, and launch support. Discovery is free.
- Is this a template?
- No. Architecture, writing, and the quiet details are commissioned. You will not see this skin on another business.
- What if I need more than six pages?
- Extra authored pages start at $180. A CMS starts at $400. Larger systems are quoted in the open before work begins.
- Do you do SEO?
- An SEO launch pack — titles, schema, sitemap, Search Console handoff — starts at $250. The site is already structured to be found.
